Focusing on the first 11 years of Yoko Ono’s career, this is the first exhibition the museum has dedicated solely to the performance artist. In it, 125 of Ono’s early pieces showcase the interactive and participatory qualities of her approach to art. The exhibition, on the museum’s sixth floor, includes seminal works such as “Bag Piece” (1964), “Painting to Be Stepped On” (1960-61) and “Cut Piece” (1964). (212-708-9400; moma.org)
