Miami is quickly rising in the sartorial sphere, carving a niche as a fashion capital in its own right, with the added benefit of an appealing climate, coastal access and a vibrant nightlife perfect for pursuits after shopping. High-end boutiques are continuing to pop up in the Design District, while a long list of luxury brands can be found at Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops, an open-air center with tropical landscaping.

“Shopping in Miami is like going to its beaches—a must,” says Mariana Malek, chef concierge at Trump International Beach Resort. “Miami has become one of the greatest shopping destinations in the world with new stores opening every day.”

From Lanvin to Burberry, Prada and Versace, the city is a veritable playground for women seeking the latest runway fashions that transcend boundaries and can also be worn wherever a visitor’s home may be. Visiting these and many other stores in the area—all of which provide an array of pieces and accessories for a head-to-toe look—is an experience on par with any other activity in this ocean-side locale.
