Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar presents “Disgraced” on The Biltmore’s GableStage following the play’s run on Broadway, where it was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play. The story follows a Muslim-American attorney living in New York City who has distanced himself from his cultural roots as he climbs the corporate ladder. Amir Kapoor can’t completely ignore his background when he and his wife host a dinner party that quickly turns into a heated discussion about religion and politics. (305-445-1119; gablestage.org)
