Richard Wagner’s early masterpiece returns to The Metropolitan Opera stage after more than a decade. Leading tenor Johan Botha takes on the title role, while Eva-Maria Westbroek stars as his wife; the pair brings to life the tale of a young knight caught between true love and passion. The opera is sung in German with translations in English, German and Spanish. (212-362-6000; metopera.org)
