This temporary installation, designed by BanG Studio, is a symbol of the New York Harbor School’s Billion Oyster Project (BOP), which seeks to restore 100 acres of oyster reefs in the New York Harbor with 1 billion live oysters by 2030. Chosen as a winner of the City of Dreams Pavilion Competition, the installation is constructed entirely of recyclable materials that will be re-used to build habitats in BOP’s new reefs.
